Springfield IL SEO, Christian Web Design Service
Webovator started as a one man operation, and has grown to encompass a network of industry professionals around the globe, working together to help your business grow, as you build your web presence.
My name is Christopher Sentman, and I would like to introduce myself. I am a 28-year old single father of three boys with a passion for web design, SEO, and social media. I have a degree in Information Technology from Bryant & Stratton College in New York, as well as a Radio Broadcasting certification from Broadcast Center in St. Louis. I went to graphic design school in Phoenix, AZ, where I first got my feet wet over a decade ago in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and Quark Express, at the age of 18. My first website was for a Christian rock band that I was playing in at the age of 16, and I have been building websites ever since.
In 2006, I was working towards my MCSE certification when I realized that I just don't enjoy networking (computer networking, tech support, etc). I was already donating a lot of my time as the webmaster for a local dog rescue group and so I decided one night, that instead of pursuing a career that I hated, just for the money, I would rather do what I loved. I saw Zig Ziglar speak at a motivational business conference in Saint Louis in 2005 and I remember him saying that to get what you want in life, all you have to do is help enough other people get what they want.
I love design, I love social media, and I love helping business owners. So I launched Webovator formally in 2007, and have made it my mission to help as many business owners as I can, get acquainted with Internet Marketing, and start to build their online presence through my abilities in graphic design, programming, and social networking.
I started out by doing websites for nonprofits and friends who were entrepreneurs. This led to more projects, and supplementing those with work that I found on some Freelancing sites, I gradually started building relationships with some of the industry's most talented individuals. Although Webovator is still technically a one-man operation, I have many partners all over the world who I utilize in various fashions according to your project's needs. So while you will be able to deal with me, I will take your business's goals and requirements and bring together some very cost effective solutions for how to best develop your web presence and the marketing of your site. I have a very dependable team of design experts, programmers, hosting providers, article writers, video producers, and more, at your disposal, but I personally oversee every detail that goes into your project.
Once the design is finished, and your site is up and running, my work is not done. I offer educational materials, one-on-one coaching, email marketing services, social media campaigns, and many other ideas that we can use together to increase your visibility on the Internet. Because after all, it's not enough to build a site; you have to know how to get that site in front of your prospects and target audience.
In 2008, during a conversation with my brother Chad, in Germany, we saw a need for people we know to 'eavesdrop' on some of our conversations on social media, networking, internet marketing, and other topics that are relevant to those wishing to do business online. Out of this conversation was born the Team Rockstar Google Group, focusing largely on Ed Dale's Thirty Day Challenge and other FREE resources on search engine optimization, niche marketing, blogging, bookmarking, design, and any other topic that the members of our small circle of friends wanted to discuss. Team Rockstar has a modest Facebook presence now, and over the last year we have made some great relationships with like-minded Internet entrepreneurs. You are welcome to check those out on Google or Facebook, and I also recommend the Thirty Day Challenge to all of my clients who are looking to increase their web presence without spending any extra money. If you want to just have Webovator handle all of your marketing efforts without getting your hands 'dirty', that is an option, but the 30DC is still a great way to learn some fundamentals.
In 2009, God started laying it on my heart to seek after more ways to help 'build the kingdom'. I use quotes on that phrase because it is something that I kept hearing in every direction. So in his timing, I was blessed with the opportunity to start working with Potter's eSolutions and Sixth Day Magazine. This has allowed me to start working with more churches, nonprofits, and Christian businesses who need web design or web promotion services, as well as assisting them in their email marketing efforts. My goal is to one day be doing something ministry related on a full-time scale, possibly even giving myself to be used overseas, but a missionary friend told me recently that He will use you, as you are, with the talents and abilities you already possess, as long as you are willing.
